What is MIA?

Mindfulness into Action (MIA) is a proven transformational learning methodology with a multi-faceted approach. It combines self-reflection exercises, organizational learning techniques and indigenous practices to guide individuals on a journey within. This practice  brings the unconsciousness into light and thus making them aware of the power they already have within, the power to take action. 

People who follow the MIA methodology are able to observe and change self-sabotaging behaviors.

MIA was developed by Dr. Mariana Vergara while completing her Doctorate Education (EdD) degree form the Department of Leadership and Organization, Teachers College, Columbia University. 

The vision of MIA is to take our mission to the global level to nurture mental, physical, social and economic balance.
